My Christmas Tree

Hi, No card today. I thought I would share a picture of my Christmas tree that was put up at the weekend. My camera didn't really pick up the lights and as you can see there is no set theme or colour scheme, but there are a lot of birds. The tree topper  is even a peacock, which didn't quite make it into the first photo.

Hope you liked seeing my tree and thanks for stopping by.

Starlight Starbright

Hello, today I have a card to show you that I have made using some stamps from Creative Expressions. I have stamped the Polar Bear with 'Rich Cocoa' Memento Ink and coloured it using Copic Markers. The background papers are from K and Company's 'Sweet Noel' Die Cut Mat Pad. The stars are peel-offs that I have stuck onto acetate and glittered with blue and pink glitter. The 'Starlight Starbright' sentiment comes on the same stamp sheet as the Polar Bear, but the 'Merry Christmas' text is a stamp from a £ stamp bin. I have used Spellbinders Dies and Kraft card for the layering and the gems are from my stash. This is a 6 x 6 inch card.

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

Peace On Earth

Hi, today I have a card to show you using 'King George and Duncan the Camel' stamp from Molly Blooms. I have stamped the image with Black Memento Ink and coloured it with Copic Markers and a white Gel pen. The background papers are from Hot Off The Press, as is the sentiment. I have used black card for the layering. The star brad and twine were from my stash and I have finished the card with Gold Perfect Pearls. The card is 5 x 6 inches.

Silent Night

Hi, today I have a card to show you that I have made using the large 'Silent Night' stamp from Clarity Stamps. I have stamped the image with Black Archival ink onto a piece of Kraft card and again onto white card. I have cut the archway from the Kraft card to make an aperture and painted some shading around the stonework with 'Frayed Burlap' Distress Ink. I have coloured Mary, Joseph, the crib and the palm tree with Copic Markers and cut out. The purple background was made using Perfect Pearl Mists and then stamping a star stamp, which came with a magazine a few years ago, that I have coloured with a Gold Gel pen. The gold layer was also made using Perfect Pearl Mists and a Fleur De Lis stamp that also came with the star. The card measures 6 x 6 inches.

Hope you like it and thanks for looking.

Christmas Wishes

Hello, today I have a card to show you again using a stamp from the Molly Blooms 'Christmas Carnival' Magazine. I have stamped the stockings with 'Rich Cocoa' Memento Ink and coloured with Copic Markers and a gold gel pen. The background papers were scraps that were left over from a Hot Off The Press card making kit and Core'dinations card stock. I have used a Cuttlebug embossing folder and used 'Old Paper and Walnut Stain' Distress Ink for the white paper panel. The panel behind the stockings and the star image also came with the Hot Off The Press kit. The sentiment came with the stocking stamp. I have finished by adding a star gem, some ribbon and Ice Stickles from my stash. The card measures 5 x 6 inches.

Warmest Wishes

Hi, today I have a card to show you using a Molly Blooms stamp that came with the Molly Blooms 'Christmas Carnival' Magazine. I have stamped George with Black Memento Ink and coloured him with Copic Markers. The background papers are from a Christmas card making kit that I have had for a good few years by Hot Off The Press and I have also used Core'dinations card stock. The snowflakes were made using a die form Marianne Designs, some snowflake shaped pearl stickers from my local craft shop and some Ice Stickles. The sentiment also came with the papers and the ribbon and gems are from my stash. The card measures 6 x 6 inches.
