Greetings From The North Pole

Hi, today I have a Christmas card to show you. I thought I had better make a start so I don't have a huge amount to make all in one go. I have used some stamps from a stamp set from Hobby Art called 'Santa's Reindeer'. I have stamped the Reindeer and the trees and fence stamps to make a scene and the Robin and Log stamp with Archival Black Ink and coloured the images with Distress Inks. I then used some white embossing powder for the snow on the ground and fence posts and some 'Shabby White' Fran-tage embossing powder for the snow. The pine branches have also been stamped from the stamp set and coloured with Distress Inks. The background papers are from K and Company and the lace, pearls, Jingle Bell buttons and North Pole sign are from my stash. I have also stamped some Hoof Prints down the left side of the brown paper panel, which was also included on the stamp set. I have finished the card with some Stickles Glitter Glue. The card is 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge: http://www.papertakeweekly.blogspot.co.uk/

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

With Love On Your Birthday

Hello, today I have a card to show you that I have made using the 'Taste Of India' stamps by Sheena Douglass. The elephant has been stamped with 'Tuxedo Black' Memento Ink and coloured with Copic Markers and Twinkling H2O's. The ornate frame has been cut using my Silhouette cutting machine, as have the other layers of the card. The gold layer of the ornate frame has also been embossed using a Sheena Douglass embossing folder which came free with this months Simply Cards And Papercrafts magazine, as was the sentiment stamp. The flowers have been made with a Tonic Punch and the leaves are from a Crafts Too die cut. The card has been finished with some Perfect Pearls and gold organza ribbon. The card is 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches.

Hope you like it and thanks for visiting.

Butterfly Dream

Hi, today I have a card to show you using some stamps from Hobby Art's 'Butterflies' stamp set. I have stamped the butterflies with 'Versamark' ink and heat embossed with black powder. I the painted them with 'Twinkling H2O's'. I have also used 'Gemstones' Gilding Flakes by Cosmic Shimmer and the THS019 stencil by Tim Holtz to create the background under the butterflies. The other background papers are from Craftstyle and I have also inked through the same Tim Holtz stencil with 'Walnut Stain' Distress ink onto the background paper. The sentiment has also been stamped, embossed and painted with H2O's. The flourish is a die from Cheery- Lynn and the roses have been made using a Jewelry Clay and a silicone mould. I have added some gilding wax and Pearls to finish. The card is 6 x 6 inches.

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.
